This course provides all the electrical concepts, alarm system analysis, and diagnostic knowledge required to be able to defeat basic wired alarm systems. The course discusses alarm system types, system operation and components, along with both electronic and non-electronic means of defeat.
The Alarm Diagnostics and Defeat course will be 5 days duration and terminates with a realistic alarm based simulated training scenario that EOD operator’s are required to navigate.
This course and the supplementary course may possibly be taken together depending on Unit commitments and availability.
